A few weeks ago my wife informed me that she'd enrolled me on a rock climbing course on Saturday morning with a view to me writing about it for Playground magazine.

With so much government information about the subject leading to general public awareness about what's good for you and what isn't, the buck really does stop with us parents!

While most of us head for plage and costas, she'll be found leaving her training ground of Harrison's Rocks to climb Britain's highest sea stack located on Hoy in the Orkney Isles.
