Nancy Ursell is Blooming Perfect

With now over eight years' experience in designing flowers for today's modern bride, she has been lucky enough to have decorated some of the most beautiful venues in and around London, Surrey and Kent.

In January 2007, her first book was published "Creating Beautiful Wedding Flowers" published by Ryland, Peters and Small. This is a hard back book with 20 step-by-step projects of how to create bridal bouquets, simple table centre-pieces, buttonholes, and chair backs. It's an excellent reference book to give brides a sample of her work and to also get some ideas for their own wedding flowers. The book has been advertised in some of the top bridal magazines, including Wedding Magazine, Brides and You and Your Wedding.

Nancy now lives in Tunbridge Wells, Kent and has built up an excellent reputation with some of the local venues through providing beautiful flower designs for her clients. She operates from a "mess" within an old Watermill in the village of Speldhurst. There's no need for cold rooms or fridges there; the space is extremely cold and quite damp and the flowers love it and survive brilliantly in the short time they have in there, so ensuring high quality and a much longer life.

Nancy sells her flowers on Fridays at The Flower Stall, Groombridge Farm Shop at the top of Groombridge Hill, and she operates a fresh flower delivery service most days of the week.
