Tonbridge Childminding Group
...and it is no surprise to learn that the demand for high quality childcare across the UK has never been greater. Childminders have become an increasingly popular choice for many families, offering flexibility and a home from home environment.
With the introduction of the Early Years Foundation Stage, childminders now have to provide the same curriculum as a nursery, so your child benefits from the same start in life, but in a homely setting with the advantage of having the same person looking after them each day - an obvious benefit for Mums too. Childminders very often look after children as babies, and then continue their care before and after school; in many cases until they go off to secondary school.
The Tonbridge Childminding Group has been established for many years. The group meets every Wednesday from 10am until 11.30am at the Little Foxes Children's Centre in Longmead School, Tonbridge. It gives childminders a great support network and also it offers an opportunity for the children they look after to socialise with each other, enjoy craft activities and join in with singing and stories. The centre has an outdoor area with lots of ride on toys, sandpit, water play and playhouse.
We would welcome any childminders to come along and join us. Parents are also most welcome to visit us to find out more about the type of childcare a childminder can offer. If you would like to arrange a visit or you would like to find out more please contact Nadia Romano on 01732 356421 or have a look at our new website www.tonbridgechildminders.co.uk
